Ewan McGregor confirmed ‘in talks’ for Obi-Wan Kenobi series at Disney+

August 17th, 2019 by Geralt of Australia Comments

It seems that Disney+ will no longer be just primarily for Marvel since it seems that we may have our live action Obi-Wan Kenobi series in the mix.

New news from Deadline has come to light with Ewan McGregor currently in talks to reprise his role as everyone favorite Jedi master General Kenobi.

It should be no surprise that Ewan is talking to don the robes of the Jedi master yet again with masterful performances in both Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, while pairing with Liam Neeson to be the saving grace of The Phantom Menace.

Now, the long-awaited Kenobi solo series has been in the works for quite a while but kept getting canceled and then brought back with no-one knowing much about what’s going on until now.

Little is known so far about what we’re gonna see or even when we’re going to see it, but long as there’s Ewan then I’m gonna be happy.

UPDATE: McGregor himself confirms he’s back for Kenobi: A Star Wars Story at D23 (here)
