So now that Futurama is finished up (for the second time) it seems that their recent crossover in the not as terrible as expected Simpsons episode has got the fans – yes, us included – wanting more.

Now Leela herself, Katey Segal, has ben talking about a potential future for the series: “I find that show is so fan-driven that it makes sense that somebody should pick it up.”

Talking about the rest of the cast, Segal added: “We would totally be on board and I wouldn’t be surprised, you know? It’s a show that always kind of shows up again.”

Bender chipped in – or rather John DiMaggio did – saying: “The last episode ended the way it did and totally left the door open for more things to happen,” he says. “Whether it comes back to network television or goes to something like Netflix or something like that, who’s to say? All I know is that the cast would be ready to do it at the drop of a hat.”

Come on Netflix, get on this, Comedy Central revived it after Fox dropped it, so how about a little Christmas miracle?
