Game of Thrones is on a clock if you will, mainly because of it’s connection the root material written by creator George R.R. Martin. The show has already made changes from what the books have done. Even Martin noted how this season would be much bloodier than the book (at this point in the story) was. Now though, a poster shows another big departure from the book.

GOT Season 5 Poster

In case you didn’t notice, that was your spoiler warning! Moving on…

In the poster above, you see Tyrion Lannister gazing upon the enormity of a dragon. But it’s who that dragon is that raises eyebrows. That’s Drogon, who fled at the end of the season last year to prevent being locked up by his dragon brothers. Furthermore, certain set pics show Tyrion and Daenerys together, something that at this point in the books, hasn’t occurred yet. So…are things accelerating? Or this is a misdirect for something else entirely? We’ll find out April 12th.
