With Game of Thrones still the show everyone is talking about, it’s still very much on people’s minds – even when it’s on a break between seasons.
News has hit the interweb that the next season – Season 5 – will start unlike any season so far: with a flashback report EW.
Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss during a Q&A with film students in Spains said: “By making the first season, we set a rule: No prophecies, dreams or flashbacks. We failed the first two and this season the third. So yes, this season will finally have flashbacks.”
Though at this point the story is that the only confirmed one is the opener of the first episode. We’ll keep you posted Thrones fans.
In other news, it looks like the season will stray from the books based on the picture and clip below which shows Jaime Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, in a golden Dornish outfit indicating he visits Dorn – a location that his character never visits in the books – scroll to bottom for the video.
The clip also features Oberyn Martell’s older brother Doran Martell, played by Alexander Siddig (below) and Areo Hotah, the captain of Doran’s bodyguards, played by DeObia Oparei (bottom)
