Galaxy Quest, the movie which saw aliens confusing the stars of a TV show for actual space faring heroes, is set for a TV remake!
Here’s how the game used to work – if a TV show was successful enough it would be spun off into a big screen adventure. But now it seems things have taken a 180 as movies such as Psycho, Silence of the Lambs and Scream are hitting the small screens.
The latest in this running order is Galaxy Quest, the 1999 Star Trek spoof starring Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman and Tim Allen. Robert Gordon, who co-wrote the original film, is currently in talks to revive the movie as an ongoing TV series. How this will work is anyones guess, but colour us intrigued…
