Only yesterday we got the teaser for season 2 of Stranger Things (here) and today we have a few new characters to look forward to getting to know in 2017.
The second season will have nine episodes and it seems that Matt and Ross Duffer – the Duffer brothers – have three new major characters set to join the hit show:
Firstly, Max is a “tough and confident” 12-14 year-old female whose “appearance, behavior and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls in this era.” Max eschews Hawkins’ primary mode of transportation — the bicycle — for a skateboard, which she uses to get around everywhere.
As a side note, the first episode will be called Mad Max… and we doubt that’s a co-incidence. We know it’ll be set about a year after the first season finale and if you’re curious why, then read here.
Secondly, Max will have an older brother called Billy, a “very muscular and hyper-confident” Camaro-driver.
And finally, there’s thirty-something gender-neutral role of Roman. The latter character suffered a great loss at an early age and has been seeking revenge ever since.
Will this loss tie into the Upside Down? We’d say it’s certainly possible.
