As we reported last week, it looks like Doctor Who, for the first time in 13 years, will not be appearing on Christmas Day – which is sad as the Christmas episode has become a really big part of our family Christmas tradition – but instead will be appearing on New Year’s Day instead.
Here’s the details: The episode will see the Doctor and her companions Ryan (Tosin Cole), Graham (Bradley Walsh) and Yaz (Mandip Gill), face a terrifying evil from across the centuries of Earth’s history. As the four return home, they have to try to overcome the threat to the planet.
Well, at least we know all the companions survive Jodie Whittaker’s first season.
With Doctor Who now on Sunday nights instead of Saturday, the Christmas Day slot gone and no return until 2020, we can’t help but feel the series may have a rough time ahead.
