We first reported in September that DC heroes Hawk and Dove had be cast in the new DC series Titans, based on the Teen Titans, and now we have our first look at the characters suited up.

You may recall a few days ago we go our first look at Brenton Thwaites as Robin in the series – he looks pretty great – and now we have our second image and they too look pretty damn good:
(continues after pic)

The image features Alan Ritchson (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) as Hawk AKA Hank Hall and Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) will play his partner, both crime fighting and romantic, Dove AKA Dawn Granger.

Word is they will be recurring with a possibly full-team enlisting in Season 2 and may even be aimed for a spin-off series..

Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven and many others. Titans is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever. The show will be written by Akiva Goldsman (Star Trek: Discovery, Underground), President and CCO of DC Entertainment Geoff Johns (The Flash, Arrow) and Greg Berlanti (Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl). 24: Legacy‘s Anna Diop was recently cast as Starfire in the series.

Titans stars Anna Diop (24: Legacy) as Koriand’r/Starfire, Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) as Dick Grayson/Robin, Teagan Croft (Home and Away) as Raven, and Lindsey Gort as Police Detective Amy Rohrbach.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
