Is Killer Frost joining the crew of the Legends of Tomorrow?

December 15th, 2017 by Marc Comments

While we reported on the current candidates to join the Legends of Tomorrow crew on The CW being Kid Flash and John Constantine (here), it looks like White Canary herself, Caity lotz, may have just thrown another name into the pot…

Lotz posted the image below of herself and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) which, in fairness, may have been from the recent four episode crossover event, Crisis on Earth-X, but we’re probably reading into it a bit far, but we reckon this could be a tease for Legends of Tomorrow.

Recently Showrunner Marc Guggenheim said of the replacement: “We do have a plan for how to replace Firestorm on the bridge, and it’s a really cool one. It’s one we’re really excited about. There’s really like two empty chairs on the Waverider. So we do have a game plan. We’ve always had a game plan. I just can’t talk about the game plan. The CW publicity will determine when we get to unleash that bit of news…. [but it will be] a previously established character from the Arrowverse.”

Perhaps his saying ‘really cool’ could be a tease and Killer Frost is certainly a previously established character with Panabaker appearing on Flash, Arrow and Legends.

What say you? She certainly could fill the shoes of Captain Cold.

so frosty 💕

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
