Ok, this will probably not make a lot of you happy, but we have to report it.
According to Tyler James Williams during an interview, Jaden Smith (son of Will Smith in case you didn’t know) has apparently been cast as Virgil Hawkins, aka Static Shock. Static is set to appear in a live-action series via the digital Blue Ribbon DC label, but no word has come from the camp in a while. There were rumors that Smith was in talks for the role, but nothing definitive. Apparently that’s not the case anymore. We’ll have to wait for official confirmation to see if this is fully true though.
