Jenna-Louise Coleman set to leave the TARDIS this Christmas?

August 18th, 2014 by Marc Comments

The rumours have been circulating for a while but now The Mirror is claiming it can confirm that Jenna-Louise Coleman is leaving The Doctor and the TARDIS at Christmas.

Just to Clara-fy (groan) this is still not confirmed by the BBC but it has been getting a lot of column space in the last week or two.

Doctor Who’s companion Jenna-Louise Coleman is set to leave the hit BBC show.

The Mirror’s source confirms that talks are currently happening and it is a mutual agreement: “She has been absolutely brilliant in the role, but everyone agrees it is a part that should change after a period.

“It’s important to keep the series moving and fast-paced, and the time is just starting to feel right and the feeling is that it could be a perfect Christmas storyline.”

As is always the case with Doctor Who, this is all to be taken with a pinch of salt until it’s either confirmed or you’re watching the episode, but sometimes there’s no smoke without fire.

What say you? Will you miss her or is this good news?
