Jennifer Aniston hints ‘something’ is in the works regarding Friends

October 30th, 2019 by Marc Comments

So, if you ask anyone of a certain age (ie my age) if they could bring back any TV show, what would it be?

And after they all say Firefly, they’ll say Friends.

And it seems that we might just have some hope that something could be in the works.

While all the stars – Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow and Matthew LeBlanc – have seemed pretty reluctant to go back to Friends, the so-awesome-it-hurts Jennifer Aniston has given us some hope that we yet see the gang back on screen together.

Aniston has appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show and has dropped a hint that something may be in the works: “We would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is.

“So we’re just trying – we’re really – we’re working on something.”

Of course DeGeneres pushed her on what it was, but the star was reluctant: “I don’t know yet! I don’t want to lead people on!”

What do you think? Does it sound like a Friends reunion is likely? Would you want one this far down the line?

Let me know your thoughts, guys…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
