And this is how it will go… slowly, things will start to return to normal and we will be able to carry on with our lives and, while Obi-Wan didn’t halt production because of that damned virus, it nice to report on something starting up again rather than being cancelled.
So, after the Obi-Wan Disney+ series was cancelled a couple of months ago, in January, it looks like it’s getting ready to start up again with a new writer.
Joby Harold, co-writer of Zack Snyder’s upcoming Army of the Dead, has come on board to bring the Jedi back to the Star Wars universe.
The series was originally written by Hossein Amini but the plug was pulled because his script reportedly was too close to the story of The Mandalorian – we’re guessing lone warrior dedicates his life to looking after someone weaker?
Showing that at the time the people controlling Star Wars had no idea what each other were doing, this was a dark time for Star Wars but, like the rest of the world, it looks like we’re going to get through it.
Mandalorian director Deborah Chow is still set to direct but as of yet we have no release date but for McGregor returning as Obi-Wan? We’ll gladly wait.
What say you all?
