Xena herself, Lucy Lawless, has signed on to star as Ruby, “a mysterious figure dead-set on crushing the uprising [of the Evil Dead] at any cost. The only problem is, she believes Ash is the source of the Evil’s resurgence.”
The 10-part series from Starz is a sequel to the first three Evil Dead movies and sees Sam Riami, Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless reunited for the first time since the heady days of Xena: Warrior Princess and is set decades after the original movies.
We’re cautiously optimistic about this one…
