Natalie Dormer has had quite a year. First she starred as the menacingly manipulative Margarey Tyrell on Game of Thrones, before also starring in BBC’s The Scandalous Lady W and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.

However, she’s definitely best known for playing Margarey and she’s been giving us a teaser of what to expect from her character in the upcoming sixth season. Here’s what she’s been saying: “I just personally wrapped Season 6 last week. What I love about Game of Thrones is every year you don’t really know who your pairing is going to be with. I’ve had some great stuff with Sophie Turner in the past, and some great stuff with Lena Headey. And I’ve got a whole new partner to play with in this season. So, I had a lot of fun there.”

Back in season 5, Margarey was imprisoned by the Sparrows for defending her brother and telling lies in order to save him while under oath in court. However, you can never underestimate Margarey’s ability to manipulate through charm and she’s promised an “amusing and ingenious” path for her character: “Margaery is a savvy chick and she’s trying to find an angle — she’s trying to find a way to get out of that cell, so it’s pretty amusing and ingenious, the route she decides to take.”

We love Natalie and we love Margarey, so we cannot wait to see what is next for them both.
