Get ready for the new daily show

Netflix and Warners developing a Sandman TV series

July 2nd, 2019 by Marc Comments

Ooooooooooh…

You may recall a few years ago New Line tried to get a Sandman movie up and running just at the DC Cinematic Universe was kicking off with Joseph Gordon-Levitt attached but, obviously, it failed to happen.

Now, however, it looks like things are moving forward… albeit towards a smaller screen.

Yes, Neil Gaiman’s Sandman have been picked up by Netflix for a ‘massive financial deal with Warner Bros. Television’ for a live-action series.

Wonder Woman’s Allan Heinberg will write and be show runner and the show has been a straight to series pickup.

This is a big deal and Sandman is a complex, dark and intriguing tale and with several other potentially massive characters – step forth Death – this could be an Umbrella Academy-sized hit for Netflix and Warner.

Stay tuned here for more news as it happens.
