Netflix confirms Lucifer Season 6

And, just like that, the devil gets his way…

Yes, it’s officially been announced by Netflix that Lucifer has been renewed for a sixth season ahead of season five even airing.

The official account wrote: “the devil made us do it. 😈 #lucifer will return for a sixth and final season. like, FINAL final.”

Lucifer has had a bumpy road to get to this stage, but the fandom has been heard. And, after the massive fan reaction to it joining the Arrowverse last year for Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, it’s great to know a proper end is in sight.

In the series, Lucifer Morningstar has decided he’s had enough of being the dutiful servant in Hell and decides to spend some time on Earth to better understand humanity. While meeting with a Detective in his nightclub, a shootout involving him and the Detective leads him to become an LAPD consultant who tries to punish people for their crimes through law and justice.

Lucifer stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Kevin Alejandro, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Scarlet Estevez, Racheal Harris, D.B. Woodside, Aimee Garcia, and Tricia Helfer.

Season 5 begins on August 21st, 2020.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
