New Star Trek Discovery character posters arrive

January 3rd, 2019 by Marc Comments

Star Trek Discovery Season 2 is less than two weeks away and we have just got new character posters thanks to IGN.

The new posters (below) feature Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), Spock (Ethan Peck), Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount), Philippa Georgiou (Michelle Yeoh), Ensign Sylvia Tilly (Mary Wiseman), Commander Saru (Doug Jones), Lt. Commander Paul Stamets (Anthony Rapp) and Dr. Hugh Culber (Wilson Cruz).

We’ve embedded them below, so go check them out.

STAR TREK: DISCOVERY follows the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new life forms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself. The series features a new ship and new characters while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.

The second season of Star Trek: Discovery is set to premiere on January 17th 2019 on CBS All Access in the US and on Netflix around the rest of the world.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
