Get ready for the new daily show

Pre-production already underway on The Mandalorian Season 3. Yay!

While we all pace the floors for The Mandalorian Season 2 to arrive towards the end of this year on Disney+, it seems that season 3 is already a-go.

The second season finished filming (thankfully) before the world panicked and shutdown over that damned virus, so we know it will arrive, as planned, later this year.

But it seems that Jon Favreau, showrunner on the series, is already working on season 3 with writing well under way (“for a while now”) and pre-production already started on concept images and ideas: “We’ve just started pre-production and are looking into further adventures for the Mandalorian in Season 3.”

It’s not a major surprise that the work is well underway on the show, as it obviously is a massive project to get made and released but it’s always nice to know that good things are already under construction, isn’t it?

Obviously, we have no idea where the story will go but with Rosario Dawson joining season 2 as Ahsoka Tano as well as Michael Biehn as a rival bounty hunter to Pedro Pascal’s Mando and Jamie Lee Curtis rumoured joining the season season, we can be hopeful it’s going to be superb.

The Mandalorian Season 2 will debut on Disney+ in October 2020.
