With the Flash off to a good running start (sorry, couldn’t help myself) we’re starting to get more and more news about who will show up in the series.
First up, the longtime nemesis of the Flash has been sighted! During a filming session, cameras caught the first glimpse of…REVERSE FLASH! Or, Professor Zoom depending on who you talk to.
Color scheme aside there are a few differences between his costume and the Flash’s. And on the topic of whether they’ll fight…
I’m going to go with…yes, they will fight.
But that’s not all! Earlier, it was revealed that Robbie Amell (cousin to Arrow’s Stephen Amell…) would be playing Ronnie Raymond, who is one half of the DC superhero Firestorm.
Well now, via Deadline, the other half of Firestorm has been cast. Victor Garber is set to play Dr. Marcus Stein, a “brilliant but arrogant nuclear physicist who has scarified everything, including a marriage, for his work in transmutation.”
Deadline also reveals that the particle accelerator explosion causes Robbie to become fused into Stein’s mind, forcing him to find a solution to separate them before it’s too late.
