With Colin Farrell, Taylor Kitsch and Vince Vaughn all apparently signed on for True Detective Season 2, Nic Pizzolatto and HBO are, it seems, closing in on a female lead too.
The Wrap is reporting that seven actresses, Brit Marling, Oona Chaplin, Kelly Reilly, Jessica Biel, Malin Akerman and Jaimie Alexander, are in contention for the role with Clerks 2 actress Rosario Dawson being the favourite.
