Our good friend Benjamin over at The Star Wars Underworld has been writing about how The Clone Wars animated series may conclude. We already know that additional Clone wars episodes are to be released soon to conclude the series that was cut short when Disney took over Lucasfilm.
The final three stories to be released are called:
Destiny: Guided by the Force, Yoda travels to the heart of the galaxy. There, on the planet where he finds the origin of the Force, he must face difficult trials. Only upon passing them will the Sages deem him worthy of learning the deepest mysteries of the Force….”
Sacrifice: On Moriband, the homeworld of the Sith, the time has come for Yoda to pass his final test. Only then will he learn the best-kept secret of his order, but first a most powerful enemy awaits….
Voices: Yoda is deeply unsettled when he hears the voice of his deceased friend Qui-Gon Jinn in his head because he knows that not even a Jedi can speak to the living from beyond the grave. The Jedi Council is concerned about Yoda’s behaviour and wants to examine him further. But with the help of Anakin, Yoda can escape from the hospital and he sets out to find the origin of the voice by himself.
Ok, so we’re excited that there’s more Clone Wars to come, but Benjamin points something out in the write-ups that seems to contradict established EU continuity (not the first time Clone Wars has done that): “What’s interesting is the mention of Moriband as the the Sith homeworld. It’s long been established in the Expanded Universe, and in video games like The Old Republic, that homeworld of the Sith is Korriban.”
Jedi News is reporting that the Lucasfilm/Disney synopsis definitely said Moriband, not Korriban. However TSWU also add that the expanded universe has had multiple Sith home worlds (eg, Ziost and Korriban are both referred to as the homeworld of the Sith) so this could just be another planet added to the list… I’m just excited that we’re going to the Sith homeworld!
