Man, as if we didn’t already think that the Ahsoka series was leading to something massive in the Star Wars universe, now we learn that the next episode, Episode V, will be hitting selected big screens too.
You can check out the official announcement below. This will be the first big screen Star Wars event since, ugh, 2019’s Rise of Skywalker.
But why? Well, if you watched last week’s episode, you’ll know that Anakin Skywalker seems to have visited Ahsoka in the World Between Worlds and while there are many theories as to what this means, one thing is for sure… it’s going to be big!
Next era of Star Wars movies to be connected in more ways than may seem obvious at first
Clocking in at almost an hour and with Clone Wars, Rebels and Ahsoka showrunner Dave Filni on scripting and directing duties, it’s anyone’s guess what’s coming but it’s almost certain to be massive!
With the sad news that Skelton Crew, which was set for a December release on Disney+, has been pushed back until 2024 due to the strikes in Hollywood, this is at least some good news for Star Wars fans.
Not a chance it’s going to be screening anywhere near me though.
Thoughts? I know you have them! Voice-off in the usual ways on FTN’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
