Big news, and plenty of viewing, for Star Trek fans on the horizon.
It’s been announced that Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Lower Decks and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds have all been renewed… and Strange New Worlds hasn’t even aired yet!
Discovery will now return for a fifth season with its fourth season set to air on February 10th. Lower Decks’ fourth season is secured and the third season will arrive later this year while Strange New Worlds’ first season kicks off on May 5th.
As well as all this, Picard Season 2 is due on March 3rd and, as well as all this, Star Trek: Prodigy’s first animated season is currently airing on Paramount+ where all these new Trek adventures will also air. Interesting that Picard has not been given a third season.
So, no shortage of Trek content this year, then… personally, I’ve not cared much for recent Trek – Picard was a massive disappointment for me – but Strange New Worlds could well have my attention.
What say you all? Let me know your thoughts, guys.
