Starship Troopers has risen to become a real cult classic in recent years. Many have finally realized it as the pastiche of the borderline, fascist morals that could be found in action films at the time and could absolutely be found in the source material.

Hollywood has been attempting to remake/reboot the film for some time now. However, producer Neal H. Moritz, has recently announced that the project may be moving to TV.

The premise of the film was that humans have spread out to the stars and are in battle with a race of giant alien bugs.

There has been little to no word on whether this reboot will adhere to the movie or the book.

However, given the book’s very far right tendency, I predict it will be mostly influence by the film.

My name is James and I am a long time fan of Movies, TV and Comics. I am currently a student, wrapping up my education at Aberystwyth University. I have an undergraduate degree in film and television and I’m working on my Masters in scriptwriting. My personal favourite comic character is the Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), and I view the film adaptation as one of the most horrifying experiences I have had in a movie theatre. As far as film and television go, I am usually willing to give any genre a try, as long as the project is well executed.
