Looks like another star from the MCU is set for the Star Wars universe.
Thor and Avengers star Stellan Skarsgard has joined the cast of the Cassian Andor series on Disney+ based on Diego Luna’s character from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
He and Poldark star Kyle Soller are in final negotiations to sign on to join the universe far, far away.
There’s no word on who they will be playing in the series but so far all we know is the show will be written by Rogue One co-writer Tony Gilroy, who will also direct several episodes.
The series will star Luna as Andor along with FTN favourite Alan Tudyk returning as K-2SO. It will be a wartime spy adventure set in the Star Wars universe, which sounds good to me.
The series was set for 2021 on the streaming service, but with the madness due to that damned virus, that may not still be the case… but we can hope.
