The Green Arrow himself has taken to an Instagram livestream to talk to the public in the midst of the pandemic currently plaguing our lives, in this he answered some questions about his future in the Arrowverse and if we’ll ever see him again.
Unfortunately, this seems to be a big fat ‘no’ as Amell says he’s done with that part of his life: “That was a good eight years but it was time to be done” he says in his livestream.
“It was weird seeing promos for Supergirl and Flash and Batwoman again. It seems like a different lifetime. I don’t think I’ll be doing that again.”
He also spoke briefly about the spin-off Green Arrow and the Canaries which had its pilot episode during the final season of Arrow and so far is one of the shows still going forward, it helps that it isn’t due to be released until the 2021/22 season though.
“I actually haven’t seen that episode because I wasn’t in it, I haven’t gotten around to watching it but I’m sure I will at some point.”
With the Arrowverse well and truly in his rear view mirror I for one look forward to seeing what he does next, with his new show Heels currently on hold I’m sure this won’t be the last time we see him.
Until next time, stay nerdy folks.
