We know you’re all fans of Strangers Things* so you’re going to want to read this great news.
Season 3 of the hit Netflix show will begin filming in the middle of April (until September) and the episode count, while less than Season 2, will equal Season 1 at a total of eight.
We know that the show this time will be set in 1985 – that’s the year of Goonies and Back To The Future so we’re expecting appropriate nods and homages ala the Ghostbusters ones last season – co-creator Matt Duffer said: “Our kids are aging. We can only write and produce the show so fast. They’re going to be almost a year older by the time we start shooting Season 3… [so] it forces you to do a time jump.”
Oh and if you’ve heard that the Duffer brothers, creators and directors of the show, are leaving after the next season, you can relax… Netflix themselves has denied it:
