The CW renews all Arrowverse shows and Supernatural… plus news on Crisis and will we see a Titans crossover?

February 6th, 2019 by Marc Comments

Great news for fans of The CW’s Arrowverse as the full line-up has had an early renewal!

Alongside new shows like Charmed, Legacies, the network has renewed Dynasty, Riverdale and Supernatural (now in it’s fifteenth year!) The Arrowverse, next season, will look like this: Arrow (Season 8), Black Lightning (Season 3), DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Season 5), The Flash (Season 6), and Supergirl (Season 5) all given the official thumbs up.

Batwoman is also going to pilot, so expect that to join the line-up too.

CW president Mark Pedowitz had to say about the early renewal for the 2019/2020 schedule.

“This season, we expanded our primetime schedule to six nights with the addition of Sunday — which has been an unqualified success for the network, our affiliates and our advertisers. In addition to growing our schedule across the week, we also continue to add more year-round programming. The early renewal of these signature CW series gives us a head start on laying out the 2019-2020 season, and this is just the beginning. These shows provide a strong foundation for our multiplatform programming strategy, and we look forward to building on this with even more returning and new shows as we approach the May upfront.”

He added: “We haven’t hit that saturation point”

Also, at the Television Critics Association press tour Pedowitz addressed the notion that the Arrow shows might someday crossover with DC Universe’s Titans, but as of yet, this isn’t on the cards as there’s been “no discussions”.

And, speaking of crossovers, he also said of the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths that it’s the “biggest and most complicated” crossover they’ve done yet and yes, there could be a deaths but it “may be a remix of its comic-book source material.”

Big things ahead for The CW’s Arrowverse… count us in

Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
