2011’s Hanna was a little gem of a movie from directorJoe Wright that told the story of a little girl played by Saoirse Ronan who was an assassin on the run with her father (played by Eric Bana).
And it’s now set to be a TV series from David Farr, the writer behind The Night Manager, over at NBCUniversal International Studios.
Farr co-wrote the movie, so he’s no stranger to the story and it makes sense that he should want to bring it to our screens again.
The movie was an off-centre fairy tale told through the eyes of a young girl who had no idea who she really was or how to control it and was one of my favourite movies of 2011.
Little else is known about the project at the moment and it’s highly unlikely that Ronan will revisit the role as we imagine this is a fresh start. However, we do hope The Chemical Bros return because their music was a BIG part of the movie’s feel.
