Oh for the love of…
The TV adaptation of the fantastic – but awesome – book and movie (above, starring Malcolm McDowell and David Warner) of the same name that saw Jack the Ripper find a time machine and travel through time murdering people, all the time chased by HG Wells, has been cancelled before it even got of the ground.
And frankly we’re miffed because we were really looking forward to this.
Ah, what could have been.
Logline: Based on the novel Time After Time, written by Karl Alexander, the drama uses the 1979 novel and movie as a starting point and chronicles the epic adventures of young H.G. Wells (Freddie Stroma, UnREAL) and his time machine.
