Hot off the reveal that Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn would be the two male leads in True Detective Season 2, Coming Soon reveals that Rachel McAdams has been in a leading female role.
The second season is set to follow “three police officers and a career criminal must navigate a web of conspiracy in the aftermath of a murder”.
Colin Farrell is set to play, “Ray Velcoro, a compromised detective whose allegiances are torn between his masters in a corrupt police department and the mobster who owns him.” Vince Vaughn however will be, “Frank Semyon, a career criminal in danger of losing his empire when his move into legitimate enterprise is upended by the murder of a business partner.”
At the present time, Rachel McAdams role has not been disclosed.
True Detective Season 2 is set to start filming this fall and will consist of eight episodes.
