WATCH: New Doctor Who logo revealed for series 11

February 20th, 2018 by Dave Bowling Comments

The BBC have unveiled the logo for the next season of Doctor Who.

New showrunner Chris Chibnal has already confirmed that the TARDIS will look slightly different inside and out, but virtually everything else is being kept under wraps. However, Auntie Beeb has revealed what the new series’ logo will look like:

No word on the title sequence yet, but I have to admit, the new logo looks pretty good. Not the best, but certainly better than some of the previous logos the show has used since 1963. Also, the Thirteenth Doctor is sporting some quite impressive footwear in that photo…

Here’s the logo in motion thanks to the Beeb’s official Twitter:

The new logo will be featured on all new Doctor Who merchandise from the end of this month. What do you folks think? Let us know in the comments below.

Doctor Who will return to BBC One in October.

Dave was born at an early age to parents of both sexes. He has been a self-confessed geek for as long as he can remember, having been raised through the 80s on a steady diet of Doctor Who, Star Trek, Red Dwarf and (sigh) Knight Rider. The death ray is currently in the works and one day you shall all bow to him, his giant space station and fleet of funky orange space shuttles...
