Good news tonight as it’s officially announced that Twisted Metal has been given a third season at Peacock.
The crazy post-apocalypse road war series, based on the video game of the same name, stars Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Seanoa, and Will Arnett and is a crazy amount of fun, so this is very welcome news, indeed.
However, in the announcement, we also learn that season one and two showrunner Michael Jonathan Smith will be departing, replaced by David Reed.

The third season will pick up after the crazy Twisted Metal tournament, which was hosted by a supernatural entity called Calypso, played with all the sinister weirdness you could ever want by Anthony Carrigan.
No word on what the story will be or when we might see it, but I’ll keep you up-to-date with the details as they emerge.
Have you watched the first two seasons? What did you think? I wanna know all your thoughts, guys…
