Two lex Luthors in Crisis on Infinite Earths? Is Michael Rosenbaum set to appear after all?

October 27th, 2019 by Marc Comments

For a long time now, we have hoped and believed that Smallville star Michael Rosenbaum, who played Lex Luthor, would be appearing in the upcoming mega crossover event on The CW, Crisis On Infinite Earths, until, a few weeks ago, the actor took to social media to say that no, sadly, he was not set to appear (here).

And, while we were still happy to have Smallville’s Clark and Lois (Tom Welling and Erica Durance), we kinda felt a little disappointed.

Until now.

Because, in the last few days we’ve had two interesting social media posts; the first, from Arrow himself, star Stephen Amell, that shows the actor in his make-up from the show, but behind him is a character list and it clearly features two Lex Luthors… and one may say Lex Smallville.

Then, a day later, Rosenbaum himself shared a video on him on a flight with Welling…but why?! Well, sure, it could be a coincidence, but honestly, we here at FTN don’t believe in coincidence, we believe in teases for events we really, really want to see!

Here’s the instagram post showing the listing for two Lex character in the event:

And, on top of this, here’s the post from Smallville’s Lex that has star Michael Rosenbaum AND Clark Kent/Superman actor Tom Welling on a flight together, further feeding the rumors that, despite previous announcements, it seems Smallville’s Lex Luthor WILL make an appearance on Crisis:

What say you all? Is this confirmation that Rosenbaum’s Lex will be appearing to make life difficult for our heroes after all? I want to hear your thoughts, guys…
