After a long wait, Robert Kirkman has revealed the name of the Walking Dead spinoff. The name was revealed via the following tweet:
“IT’S OFFICIAL! The walking dead companion show on AMC is called FEAR THE WALKING DEAD! Expect more news very soon! #FearTheWalkingDead”
While not the most original name, it may speak to what the series could be more focused on. As for the “more news coming very soon” part, he was being very honest. Because, the first trailer for Fear the Walking Dead is coming this Sunday during the Walking Dead Season 5 finale.
Fear the Walking Dead will air in 2016.
