WATCH: Fallout season 2 gets first teasers as season 3 gets an early announcement

Exciting news from the Vault, folks!

We reported a few days ago that Fallout season 2 had just finished filming and now we have out first two teasers, below, and as well as that, the exciting news that Amazon are so excited about what they’re seeing in season 2 that they have given an early greenlight for season 3!

We also now know that we’ll be spending the festive season in the Vault too as season 2 is set for a December/Christmas release this year.

The renewal and premiere dates were announced at the Prime Video‘s upfronts presentation on Monday night – you can check out the big musical number from the presentation below.

Vernon Sanders, global head of television, Amazon MGM Studios, said at the event: “We are absolutely thrilled that our global Prime Video customers will be able to delve deeper into the wonderfully surreal and captivating world of Fallout… together with our amazing partners at Bethesda Games and Bethesda Softworks, we are delighted to announce a third season of Fallout, well ahead of the much-anticipated debut of Season Two.”

The first season was one of my favourite watches of the last 12 months, having never played the games – my son, however, is obsessed with them – but I sound the world, story and characters absolutely cracking and I’m now officially buzzing for the show’s next two seasons.
