May 13th, 2021 by Marc Comments

It’s finally here and an entire generation of fans can breathe and squee at the same time.

HBO Max has dropped the teaser trailer for the Friends Reunion – The One Where They Got Back Together starring all six of the original cast, Jennifer Aniston Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc, who played Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Ross, Chandler, and Joey.

The special has been filmed in two iconic locations from the series: soundstage Stage 24 on Warner Bros Studio lot in Burbank, where the two apartments were created and in front of the famous fountain from the opening credits.

It must be stressed that this is not an episode but rather a reflection on the show’s history starring many other names from its decade-long history including Maggie Wheeler who portrayed the fan-favorite role of Janice, Tom Selleck who played Monica’s ex-boyfriend Richard Burke, and Reese Witherspoon who appeared as Rachel’s younger sister Jill Green, along with Elliot Gould and Christina Pickles, who played the roles of Ross and Monica’s parents. James Michael Tyler, Larry Hankin and Thomas Lennon, who respectively played the roles of Gunther, Mr Heckles and Randall, are also appearing.

Also appearing are David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Kit Harington, Mindy Kaling, and Malala Yousafzai.

Because, why not?

Anyway, I know a lot of people will be excited for this… are you among them? Let me know.

Get ready for the one where we get to see our favorites back together again. The Friends Reunion is coming on May 27th only on HBO Max.
