WATCH: James Gunn reveals first look at Peacemaker season 2

James Gunn has revealed the first look at Peacemaker season 2 via a teaser for HBO Max’s 2025 shows.

The new clip doesn’t give anything major away and it certainly doesn’t eve try to explain how this show can be part of the DCU even though it was conceived as part of the now-defunct DCEU (or Snyderverse) but I still hope it’s at least addressed in the actual season.

On social media, Gunn wrote: Counting the days until Peace on Earth. I just finished the DI & Mix on the Season Premiere yesterday and wow it’s one of my favorite things ever. DC Studios’ #Peacemaker Season 2 coming soon only on @StreamOnMax August 21.

I really enjoyed the first season, so I will be looking forward to seeing what comes next for John Cena’s unlikely hero.
