WATCH: New rumour has DC Universe’s Titans appearing in Crisis On Infinite Earths

October 14th, 2019 by Marc Comments

Well, here’s a turn up for the books… or TV.

A few weeks back there was a rumour that the Titans stars would appear in The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover but I didn’t report on it because, well, it was a fleeting rumour.

But, now it’s back.

So, so far, as exciting as its all been so far, all the throwback are to shows and movies in the distant past and so far there’s been little to no references – that we know of – to more recent shows such as Gotham or Titans, so if this is true, it will be fantastic news.

So the report – which you can watch below – is by YouTuber Pagey and he claims that a scene has been filmed already with disclosed members of the Titans in Titans Tower, likely in their civilian clothes, looking at something out the window.

It sounds like the scene is a glorified cameo and is already filmed in Toronto (where Titans is filmed) and not in Vancouver where The CW shows are filmed.

He claims he has proof of this but can’t show it at this point.

Now, given that Greg Berlanti is involved in Titans as well as the Arrowverse shows, I honestly can see this happening and, as I imagine will be the case of many of the scenes from historic characters, I think we may see an event occurring in the crossover that will be felt and witnessed throughout the multiverse, cue scenes of stars looking at the sky burning (or whatever) throughout different universes.

And honestly, just tying it all together like that would be just great… nods and connective tissue is the stuff we live for as fans.

Crisis on Infinite Earths kicks off Sunday, December 8th on Supergirl, then continues with a Monday episode of Batwoman and that Tuesday’s The Flash. After a month-long holiday break, it concludes with the Jan. 14 episode of Arrow and a special instalment of Legends of Tomorrow.
