Oh, but it looks great!
The trailer is for the new standalone Sherlock Special which is due later this year on the BBC.
The series will feature Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman as the original detectives as envisioned by Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle… no mobile phones or new-fangled gadgets, just mysteries and wits. And that sounds aces to us.
Sherlock will return next year in its original, updated guise, but for now, this just looks like perfect Christmas TV, doesn’t it?
