Good and bad news tonight as we have the trailer for Infinity Train season 4 (yay!) but sadly, it’s the show’s final outing (booo!).
Series creator Owen Dennis revealed last year that all the creatives involved in making the show have moved on to other projects and noted that, after the show jumped from Cartoon Network to HBO Max that thy would hopefully get a fourth season if the viewing figures were good and, clearly, they must have been good as we got season 4.
But, Dennis has since said: “I’m so thankful to the crew of Infinity Train for helping make it what it became and to the fans for their incredible support over the years,” Dennis said in a statement. “While Book 4 is the end of the line, I’ll always be grateful and never forget that this series has meant so much to so many people.”
It’s been a cracking little series and it’ll be missed… let’s hope it gives us more answers than questions in its last year.
Book 4 will now follow two old friends with dreams of becoming rock stars who find themselves on the Infinity Train. They must explore the locomotive’s inner puzzles — and their own relationship — in order to return home, together and premieres this April 15.
