Samurai Jack and (original) Clone Wars creator Genndy Tartakovsky is back with an all-new animated ten-part series for Adult Swim and it looks beautiful and intense in similar measure.
Primal tells the story of a caveman living in a savage world of monsters and dinosaurs just fighting to survive. It has no dialogue and Tartakovsky had this t say: “Forget about the violence and stuff, there’s plenty of that to go around. It’s these serious themes. The biggest thing is that we trust the audience. It’s 10 episodes, no dialogue, and some of it’s pretty intense, so we are going to rely on you the audience to understand it and to pay attention.”
Sounds just about perfect. Could us in.
Primal features a caveman at the dawn of evolution. A dinosaur on the brink of extinction. Bonded by tragedy, this unlikely friendship becomes the only hope of survival in a violent, primordial world.
All 10 episodes will air across five nights in a row on Adult Swim, starting on October 7 and running through October 11
