HBO has released the first teaser trailer for Game of Thrones Season 6.
The trailer features the voice of the Three-Eyed Raven, presumable speaking to Bran Stark. We see images of Jon Snow and many of the past deaths from the show’s first five seasons in what is a hallucinatory, breathless 40-second clip.

Bran caps the teaser off in chilling fashion with the line: “They have no idea what’s going to happen.” That’s a line that can be taken in a pretty meta-textual way, as the series prepare to go where no book-reader has gone before.
Clearly, this is the teasiest of all teases – and HBO clearly know exactly how to pull of your Jon Snow heartstrings. It’s really cool to hear what Max von Sydow’s Raven sounds like – if that is him of course. Also, Bran returns! Stay tuned to SquareEyed as we will have a reaction video to this teaser and will have plenty more Game of Thrones build up as the countdown to season 6 has officially begun.
