Major sequel coming for Five Nights at Freddy’s

May 1st, 2020 by Geralt of Australia Comments

There are but a few good horror games out there these days. Whether it’s the fact that we’re harder to scare now or that people have stopped trying, one thing is for certain, Five Nights at Freddy’s is currently one of the most popular horror games on the market.

For those who haven’t played the game, imagine you’re a human in Toy Story, except at night everything is trying to kill you and the only way to survive is by watching the security cameras and solving cryptic puzzles in order to get to safety.

Including the original, there’s been 6 sequel games, 4 spin-offs, books, toys (although I wouldn’t want to risk it) and an upcoming movie.

However, this just isn’t enough it seems as yet another sequel is well on the way with a few leaks proving it.

With all this, the creator himself has taken to Reddit to address these leaks and rumors.

“So, I woke up to a barrage of upsetting emails.

“For this fanbase, the day a major corporation spoiled the next major release of the FNAF franchise was the most important day of their lives. But for me, it was Friday.

“But seriously, this is obviously very frustrating for me, but not that surprising anymore. It’s just another day in the life of FNAF. It makes me really miss the days of just making everything myself and handling everything myself, because at least then I had someone I could trust, and even then, sometimes I’d let myself down by spoiling something!!!

“I am sorry to everyone though. This isn’t the way I wanted to introduce the characters. I wish they’d at least used the finished artwork, or even the finished concept art. Instead they uploaded a low-res, de-saturated, compressed, watermarked, thumbnail of concept art that they photoshopped together themselves. Obviously, I’m disappointed, but trust me when I say that Steel Wool is on top of things. The game itself is looking amazing. (BTW, PizzaPlex is not the name of the game.)”

Although the release date has yet to be confirmed, if things keep going down like this I expect it will be soon. Until then keep safe folks, and stay nerdy.

Geralt of Australia, holder of the One Ring of Sauron, mechanic to the Millennium Falcon and council to the Avengers, has been diagnosed as a nerd since falling through the wardrobe and being crowned king in Narnia. While fighting Boggarts and watching Storm Troopers miss everything, he has made his way back into this world through the portal in 221B Baker Street just to bring you all the news and reviews of the games of this world.
