July 17th, 2013 by Stuart Miller Comments

Speed, Mafias and guns all for free on Playstation Plus!

Sony have announced what free content Playstation Plus subscribers will be getting next and it’s a interesting mixture of games.

The biggest game on offer is Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Created by Criterion Studio, the game was lauded as one of the best driving games of 2012 and will see you outrun cops, rivals and even your friends to be crowned the best.

Your next game of choice is the fantastic Mafia 2. The game sees you take control of Vito, a poor Italian-American who is trying to escape from poverty by descending into the world of organised crime with his childhood friend Joe.

Your final choice is Spec Ops: The Line from 2K games. You take control of Captain Martin Walker as he is sent into Dubai with an elite Delta Force team to try and take down a rogue US officer, even though the game was initially delayed by over a year it still turned out to be one of the most intense games of 2012.

Playsation Vita owners will also see two new games offered for free, so if you have a Vita then you will be given Lego Lord of the Rings and When Vikings Attack.

Leaving the library though to make way for the new content will be Battlefield 3, Catherine, Malicious, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Unit 13.

The switch around will happen on July 31st so if you want Battlefield 3 get downloading it now in time for the new content.
