WATCH: Did we just get teased a new Batman Arkham game!?

Now, everyone who knows me knows that I’m a huge Nintendo fanboy, Zelda is my jam and there are very few things that can compete with it. But when Warner Bros Montreal teases a brand new Batman game across the side of a building using a bat signal, then you know something huge is on the way.

With the 80th anniversary of Batman a few days ago, WB thought this would be a good time to do something a little different:

Here we can see the bat signal and maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me, but it seems to be pulsating in a way – this is then broken up by multiple little glitches in the system where we can see some pictures overlapping. Now lucky for us, someone has already taken the time to screenshot the images and clear them up so we can get a bit of a better look at what we’re dealing with, and the evidence of what’s to come is overwhelming.

So we have the three symbols here and, although grainy, we can definitely see in the last one that has to be the demon’s head, aka League of Assassins, aka Ra’s Al Ghul. Now we’ve seen Ra’s in the Batman Arkham games before as a kind of half-zombie creature who’s clinging to life by the powers of the Lazarus Pit, so does that mean that this one will be a prequel to some of the previous ones, or will it be separate to the three previously done by Rocksteady Games and only follow on the one done by WB back in 2013?

Now this would be just all theory, if it wasn’t for the game developers posting a pic of themselves on twitter a while ago (below), where we can see a Court of Owls logo that looks suspiciously like all the glitches in the video, could this mean that we won’t only be getting Ra’s but the Court too? And if that is the case, will they be working together? There are still so many questions to be answered.

This is a rather auspicious time for WB to be teasing something like this though, with PlayStation’s State of Play happening soon, the timing just sounds too perfect for this not to be true.

Stay tuned for all the new’s from State of Play and as always, stay nerdy.
