April 16th, 2017 by Marc Comments

We got a leaked look at the trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront II earlier this week (here) but now, from Star Wars Celebration Orlando, we have the full trailer and oh, my…

The new trailer seems to hint that the secondBattlefront game will cover all three eras in the Star Wars movies and it certainly looks like it’s going to be a real thrill ride.

The canon single player campaign will feature Iden Versio, played by Janina Gavankar (see tweet below), a special forces Imperial soldier who vows revenge on the Rebel Alliance after seeing Death Star II get blown up from the surface of Endor who wand the eradication of the Rebellion.

This time out you’ll be on the side of the Empire as the leader of Inferno Squad (who will feature in an upcoming novel set for release on July 25th this year).

Iden was born and raised on Vardos, a new Imperial planet and she and her droid will go on a mission if revenge after the death of the Emperor that will span the time between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens and will involve Operation Cinder.

You can also play as Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren and others.

Multiplayer will span all Star Wars movie eras: Prequels, Clone Wars, Original Trilogy and Sequel Trilogy and so far it’s been confirmed you can play as Darth Maul, Yoda, Kylo Ren, Rey and Luke Skywalker although at the beginning of the game you’ll be a Stormtrooper. There will be land and space battles.
