The first trailer has dropped for James Bond game 007 First Light and not only is the trailer great but the new Bond has our attention… for a couple of reasons.
Yes, picking up from Pierce Brosnan, it seems that we have another Irishman playing the world’s greatest secret agent as the new Dexter Morgan himself, Patrick Gibson, steps up for the new game.
Gibson will voice Bond and also was the physical likeness, well, minus the red hair (can I say ‘ginger’?).
Dexter: Original Sin gets second season order at Showtime/Paramount+
The game will see a 26-year-old Bond transitioning from the Royal Navy to MI6 and is an official prequel tale for the character.
Developed by IO Interactive, the studio behind the Hitman series, 007: First Light is a third-person action-adventure game set for release in 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
