Not long after the box office debut of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was it revealed that a sequel would indeed be made. The question then became whether it would maintain it’s director Jonathan Liebesman. Reports are saying no, but a replacement has already been found.
David Green, who helmed the recent film Earth to Echo, has been reported as taking over the directing roles for this film. Michael Bay is set to produce the sequel, and most of the cast have been confirmed as returning. The film is set to release on June 3, 2016.
